Know how to wipe a nose, dry a tear or change a diaper? These people do! Please consider
volunteering for Nursery duty so that others who serve may attend worship services on occasion
while our youngsters are being faithfully and lovingly attendend. We try to operate on a
rotating schedule so that care-givers can attend services and other functions, too! Just one
hour per month of your time can make a big difference in the lives of our kids and their
parents...for the Kingdom!
To volunteer, please contact Nursery/Pre-K Director Shawn Horrell:

Men, are you looking for a way to express your “Wild at Heart” view
of life? Remember, we were created outside the garden in the wilderness
before being placed in GOD’s garden home! The Men’s group of Brookhill
meets every Wednesday night at 7pm to grapple with life’s tough issues
through thoughtful and practical Biblical instruction. Spiritual maturity
is not for wimps! Join the battle as we fight in GOD’s strength to be the

Women's Ministry | Deeper
|
|
|
Brookhill Women's Ministry: going deeper with Him through Bible study, prayer,
and fellowship. At this time we are growing with each other through Beth Moore's "Here and Now, There and Then"
lecture series on Revelation and small groups held Wednesday evenings in the sanctuary at 6:30pm.
Each week we are challenged to grow deeper in God’s word as well as grow closer
to our “sisters” in Christ. Come and be involved in our many activities as we actively
seek more of Him in all areas of our lives. We are seeking Him through weekly Bible
studies, ministry dinners, prayer and praise, and many, many areas of fellowship.
Please contact any of the Team Ministry leaders below if we can assist you in any way.
Philippians 1:9 says: "I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you
will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding."
Our Vision: To go Deeper as we pursue more of God and His purpose for our lives.
Will you go deeper with us?

Kitchen | Meal Prep (occasional)

Brookhill regulars and guests alike enjoy our frequent and nearly-famous potluck
meals in the Fellowship Hall. Other times, there may be a need to provide a meal for
a Brookhill group, a family in need in times of moving, bereavement...or even a
homecoming celebration. This requires planning, food preparation, serving, kitchen
clean-up, and trash duty. Remember...Jesus fed the masses before he preached to them.
Help us warm hearts and fill bellies at Brookhill!

Community Outreach...and Beyond
|
|
|
Brookhill members consistently reach out with the love of Christ to others
in our own sphere of influence, around our neighborhoods, across the country,
and literally around the world. In addition to our own avenues of ministry to
others, there are many organizations with whom we work to share the love of
Christ by providing for the physical and spiritual needs of others. Some of
these include: The Angel Tree, Patrick Henry Boys and Girls Homes, Bedford
Christmas Station, Bedford Pregnancy Center, The Salvation Army in Lynchburg,
Second Harvest Food Bank in Lynchburg, Toys for Tots (USMC), God's Pit Crew
and others. Additionally, there are family needs that arise all to frequently.
To discover the possibilities of how you can make a difference in the life of
someone else, and impact them for eternity, please call the Church Office:

The faithful servants of the Lord need a break, too! Please consider how you might provide
a service to those who minister to us week after week. Perhaps babysitting, perhaps a hot meal
delivered, perhaps a weekend at a bed and breakfast, perhaps a gift certificate to a restaurant
or a bookstore or a coffee shop. Consider the ways you might make the day for a servant of
Brookhill.
